Parents as Career Coaches Workshop

Students report that the career advice they rely on the most, comes from their parents so we created a workshop to provide parents with up to date information.

Who is a Parent Career Coach?

A Career Coach asks questions to encourage investigation and self discovery. A Parent Career Coach assists the youth in their life to navigate through career decisions.

What is the Parents as Career Coaches Workshop?

In hands on environment learn about:

• Trends – recognizing trends and shifts in order to improve your career decisions
  
• Education and Training – examine websites and entrance requirements
  
• Making Career Choices - use online job search tools to identify strengths and connect with career choices
  
• Job Search Skills – discover online job search tools

Where and When is the workshop delivered?

This workshop will happen in your school or community. It is two hours long including breaks.
